Just got word that Grindethic Records has just signed Prophecy. Full release follows:

“Grindethic Records are proud to announce the signing of cult Texas death metal band PROPHECY. Formed in 1991 in Shreveport, Lousiana, the band crafted their own path through the US death metal underground, in the process relocating to Texas and helping to shape the sound associated with the DM scene there. The band have a string of demos and official releases to their name, and their live treks have spanned across the USA and Europe.

The Texas slam merchants are set to begin recording their third full-length album, their first in over 5 years, in October. The album will be titled “Don’t Fuckin’ Mess With Texas ” and will feature artwork by the prolific Tony Koehl (ENTHRALLMENT, MALIGNANCY, ABYSMAL TORMENT, INFERNAL REVULSION, etc.). A release is set for the end of the year via Grindethic Records, more details to follow.”
