Re-Animated is a new series of reviews that will bring older albums (at least 7 years since it’s initial release date) back to the forefront of my listening habits and tastes. The plan is to, every so often, reach into the past for a CD that was played ad naseum when it first came out.

There a couple of things that I would like to get out of this, myself. First, I would like to see if my musical tastes are the same as, or similar to, where they were seven years ago. And, second, I would like to see where some of my favorite (and not so favorite) albums stand up against the music of today. This should be an interesting process to say the least.

I’d be curious to hear what you all thought of the albums when they were first released, as well. What were you doing when it came out? What was your favorite track(s)? Shit like that.
