Together with MORBID, TREBLINKA/TIAMAT, GRAVE and DISMEMBER, ENTOMBED belongs to the earliest group of bands that forged the trademark Swedish death metal sound. Formed under the name NIHILIST in 1987, ENTOMBED was influenced by such diverse acts as AUTOPSY, MOTORHEAD, DISCHARGE, KISS and others, resulting in the band’s unique “death ‘n’ roll” style. After inspiring thousands of artists with their signature brand of metal over the years, the legends have now returned with their 10th studio album, Back To The Front, which promises to be a new ENTOMBED classic!

Due out October 28th in Europe and October 29th in North America, Back To The Front will be the band’s Century Media debut.

Featuring cover artwork by Zbigniew Bielak (WATAIN, VADER, etc.), Back To The Front was recorded and mixed at Studio Bohus (ABBA, EUROPE) in Kungalv, Sweden with producer Roberto Laghi (IN FLAMES, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR). From the morbid, pissed-off lyrics to the de-tuned, massive riffs to L-G Petrov’s titanic roar, Back To The Front is a bone-crushing opus that will surely please fans of the band’s classics, Wolverine Blues, DCLXVI: To Ride Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth and Morning Star.
