SWEDEN – Swedish melodic death metal master, Arch Enemy, has announced the title of the band’s long awaited successor to 2007’s acclaimed, Rise Of The Tyrant. Prior to entering the studio this winter, the band caught up with the UK’s, Bonkers Entertainment, at a headlining show at the HMV Forum in London to discuss Arch Enemy’s plans for 2011. During the interview, the band revealed the name of the forthcoming full-length as Khaos Legions.

Arch Enemy is currently locked up in the Sweet Spot Studio facilities in the south of Sweden piecing together the much-anticipated, Khaos Legions, which is being engineered/mixed by Rickard Bengtsson (whom produced 2005’s Doomsday Machine).

After releasing the Tyrants Of The Rising Sun – Live In Japan live DVD/CD (2008) and the re-recordings album, The Root Of All Evil (2009), the band’s ninth studio album will mark a return to new, original material.

Khaos Legions is slated for a May 2011 release, courtesy of Century Media Records. Arch Enemy has confirmed several summer dates and festivals in support of the forthcoming album.
